My kids and their terrible birthdays. Poor Emily has a birthday right around when they return to school after Christmas break and we have had pretty bad turnout for her parties because of that. This year, we waited until the end of the month for her party. It was nice to let the hustle and bustle of the holidays settle before throwing a party. Hopefully this year I will be able to convince the girls that they do, in fact, want a party together, before Christmas, hopefully at the indoor pool, to celebrate both their birthdays. Especially since they are so close in age and share a few friends.
